All 6 tours on the Arve run from May to September, priced between 45 € and 66 €, with sessions lasting 2h to 2h30. Every option is rated "Occasionally sporty", meaning no prior experience is required but expect active paddling in glacial meltwater. The clearest split is by format: classic rafting (45 €,60.50 €) suits first-timers and groups who want a shared raft experience on the Arve's rapids, while hydrospeed and packraft (both 66 €) push the intensity up by putting you closer to the current, solo or in a small inflatable. Passy departures (via Session Raft) give direct A40 access, while Chamonix meetingpoints suit those already based in the valley. Pick by format first: raft for group fun, hydrospeed or packraft if you want more personal exposure to the river.
